At the Catawba County Public Health Dental Clinic, prevention of dental disease is our number one goal. We provide complete examinations and a wide range of treatment and educational services for children ages 1-21. We serve as a dental home for every patient, which means our services are comprehensive, continuously accessible, coordinated and family-centered.
Clinic services:
Preventive services include exams, cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, placement of space maintainers and the provision of a dental home.
Restorative procedures include fillings and crowns.
Surgical procedures include removal of primary teeth. Nitrous Oxide analgesic available.
Educational services include instruction on home care, brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling.
Referrals are made to specialists as needed, such as for braces and some surgeries.
Interpreters are available.
