Dental Volunteers for Israel (DVI) operates a dental clinic in Israel that is dedicated to the improvement of the oral health of impoverished children in Jerusalem. Dental Volunteers for Israel was founded twenty-five years ago to help both Arab and Jewish children. The clinics founder, Trudi Birger understood that through prevention and education, the daily lives of these children could be improved. The DVI clinic is staffed by an international group of volunteer dentists that treat the children free of charge.
