Jackson County Health Department Smiles on Wheels Mobile Dental Unit.
The Jackson County Health Department Dental Program also provides a school based dental care program, Smiles On Wheels.
The mobile unit visits elementary schools in Jackson, Calhoun, Holmes, Liberty, and Washington Counties providing services to Pre-K through 3rd Grade students who are eligible for Medicaid or the Free Lunch Program. The mobile unit is staffed by a licensed dentist, two dental hygienists, and one dental assistant.
